Every one of these stays separately addressable instead of collapsing into one block of text.
A narrated version you can listen to instead of read.
This is the hardest conversion here, and the script says so. A carousel's argument is carried by layout, colour and a number typed onto an image; describing that out loud is narration about a picture rather than the picture. Ancher writes the script anyway for the posts where the claim survives being spoken, and states plainly which ones did not.
The honest version
Some posts are a claim with a picture attached, and those convert fine. Others are a picture that only implies a claim — a before and after, a comparison chart, a layout where the point is which box is bigger. Read aloud, the second kind becomes a person describing a diagram, and no amount of scripting fixes that.
One post, at slide 1/6, read two ways.Illustrative. The figure is invented; the gap it falls into is not.

What comes out
A narrated version you can listen to instead of read.
Written to be spoken, with slides converted to description and the visual-only posts left out.
One segment per post, each introduced with the creator's handle.
A plain register, not an imitation of any creator's delivery.
An honest runtime, plus a list of which saved posts were dropped as unsuitable and why.
Each handle spoken at its segment as well as written down.
The link on its own gets a summary. This is the instruction that produces the 5 sections above, in that order, with the rules that keep them honest. Paste it with your Instagram post — in Ancher, or in whatever assistant you already use.
Write a narration script from these saved posts. (1) Rewrite for a listener, converting slides into description. (2) Recover text burned into video and speak the specifics out loud. (3) One segment per post, opened with the creator's handle. (4) Estimate the runtime honestly and list which posts you dropped as too visual to narrate, with the reason. (5) Speak each credit. Do not describe a chart for more than one sentence, and do not pad.
The detail, if you want it
| From the Instagram post | Into | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Reel audio, transcribed | Script | A reel already has spoken content, which makes it the only Instagram format that starts halfway to audio. |
| Frames from the video | Script | Text burned into a video is invisible to everything else and is usually the specific the script needs to say out loud. |
| Every slide in a carousel | Length | Reading every slide is what reveals which posts are a claim with a picture and which are a picture pretending to be a claim. |
| Caption | Segments | The caption states the claim in words, which is the cleanest thing to open a segment with. |
| Likes and comment counts | Length | A post nobody saved rarely earns a segment, and knowing that before recording saves the recording. |
The caption is where the actual claim lives; the visual is usually the hook.
Carousels are decks in disguise — slide seven is often the one with the substance.
Spoken-over reels carry detail that appears nowhere in the caption.
Text burned into a reel is invisible to a caption scrape but survives frame sampling.
Reach tells you which format the audience actually responded to.
Reels with substantive spoken content, and carousels where the claim is written rather than shown. Anything whose point is a visual comparison is flagged and dropped, because narrating a chart is not listening to an argument.
Shorter than you expect — most Instagram posts are under two minutes spoken. The length section gives the estimate before anyone records, along with a list of what was dropped and why.
Only with permission from every creator included. Where this genuinely earns its place is listening to a pile of saves you never got back to, with an audience of one.
Everything you save lives in one workspace, so the podcast is built from your sources — not from a model's memory of the internet.
